The band ‘Korn’ The american Nu-metal band formed in 1993 in Bakersfeild, California pioneered nu metal music.

Founding members being James ‘Munky’ Shaffer, Reginald ‘Feildy’ Arvizu, Brian ‘Head’ Welch and the notorious Jonathan Davis. In addition to Ray Luzier replacing the bands original drummer David Silveria.

Korn made a demo tape called Neidermayers mind in 1993 which was distributed to radio by request of the public. Their first greatest hits where in 1996 with ‘Life is Peachy’ which was a commercial breakthrough, Then followed closely by ‘Follow The Leader’ In 1998, Which was a MAINSTREAM success, Then the album ‘Issues’ debuted number one on the Billboard 200. More successful albums also where released like ‘Untouchables’ 2002, ‘Take a look in the Mirror’ 2003, and ‘See you on the other side’ 2005.

Signed to Immortal Records and Epic Records, they switched to Virgin Records.

Then recently they dropped the new 2022 album ‘Requiem’ an amazing album released by Korn. They have sold 40 million records worldwide. What an insane phenomenon. They where certified Platinum. two are certified double platinum, one is certified triple platinum, one is certified five times platinum, and two are certified Gold.
