In the next few days the Anonymous Singapore Developers (Anon Singapore Devs) will be capturing a snapshot of all holders of the Steamboat Willie Public Domain 2024 NFT (available HERE) and, soon after, airdropping $WILLIE tokens (available HERE) to holders at the time of the snapshot.
In total, 48,200,000,000 $WILLIE will be airdropped over 3 months.
In this first airdrop, a whopping 10% (4.8 billion tokens) are up for grabs, exclusively for Steamboat Willie Public Domain 2024 NFT holders.
What does this mean? What do I do?
To be eligible for the airdrop, simply hold at least one Steamboat Willie Public Domain 2024 NFT at the time of the snapshot. There is no active component or claim for the airdrop, it will be automatically deposited to eligible wallets.
Holding is the only prerequisite.
There are multiple airdrops planned over 3 months — can I just dump right after the first airdrop?
Sure, this is Web3 and you can do as you like.
However, each subsequent airdrop will trigger a new snapshot, and that periods $WILLIE tokens will be airdropped to active holders as of the new snapshot. As an example, if you held an NFT during the first snapshot and received the first airdrop, and then sold your NFT on the secondary market (such as OpenSea), you will not be captured in the second snapshot unless you still hold at least one Steamboat Willie Public Domain 2024 NFT.
Holding zero Steamboat Willie Public Domain 2024 NFTs at the time of a new snapshot results in no allocation for the airdrop.
Okay, so holding the NFTs is key to the airdrop. Can I hold more than one NFT for more tokens?
Yes. The airdrops will be based on a per-NFT basis, split proportionally across the number of holders during that snapshot period. As an example, if there are 1000 individual holders, and each holder has 2 Steamboat Willie Public Domain 2024 NFTs, each holder will receive 0.1% of that periods available tokens.
