Cardamom Essential Oil …. A Gem of an Oil!

Cardamom essential oil is an oil that is often overlooked for its gentleness and benefits. It actually comes from the ginger family. Many know the name from cooking. In fact, truth be told, this oil smells like a home cooked meal. A nice spice for cooking; an even nicer oil for wellness!

It is generally recommended that children stay away from Eucalyptus and Peppermint Oils because they are both strong and can be dangerous when used at a young age. That being said, Cardamom makes a great replacement. As always, we suggest diluting your essential oils with a carrier oil such as grape seed oil or jojoba oil.

Here are some great uses for Cardamom:

Helps with an upset stomach

Helps with digestion

Mood booster

Contains properties that clear breathing and contribute to respiratory health

Great spiritual and emotional oil — calms frustration, anger, rage or outbursts in adults & children

Instructions on Use:

You can use it internally as part of your daily health regimen to support healthy gastrointestinal function; however we recommend speaking to your doctor before taking any essential oils internally.

Apply about 10 drops to your diffuser. Helps to alleviate nausea.

For emotional health, add 10 drops to your diffuser or add to a carrier oil and use it as a massage oil. You can also use it this way to address bouts of anger or rage.

Add to your favourite carrier oil and rub topically into your chest, throat and back to promote clear breathing.

Note: Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Keep away from children. Do not take internally unless your doctor has given your approval to do so.
