Take a Break.
A day break in the ancient city of Krems.
Start your day trip above the roofs of Krems.
Our day trip started next to the “Piaristenkirche”, where we had an awesome view over the ancient city of Krems. We think, that this the perfect place to strat the trip, because we got a first impression of what to expect.
Our next step was also above the main city: we walked through the vineyards, which are located next to the city. There we also spotted an appricot garden and were totally impressed by its beauty and its awesome smell.
Our walk through the vineyards ended at the Steiner Tor. There we spotted a horse drawn carriage and decided to make a tour with it.
The tour ended at its starting point Steiner Tor. As the Steiner Tor is the “entrance” to the pedestrian zone, we decided to walk through it and experience what is around.
All our sightseeing was then rewarded with food. Little, traditional cafes or the region typical Heuriger invited us to experience the taste of Krems. Futhermore the atmosphere calmed us down. We were not looking at our mobile phones and focused on us and on our time together.#kremsdelight
And after our long, very interesting day in Krems, we watched the sunset at the Danube. This romantic atmosphere led to total relaxation, after all the walking of the day. We were really sad that we had to leave in the evening.
