I liked your short article about socialism. Especially by giving the definition of “Socialism” at the beginning and then explaining your point of view.
Americans as you probably know have perpetual amnesia so it’s very difficult for them to think clearly. And further they generally think in terms of labels which they heard repeated many times in that font of wisdom — the mass media.
Essentially their views on politics, a very serious subject, are really on the level of English soccer hooligans. That’s why a serious discussion about the ramifications of various governmental policies is virtually absent from our political discourse.
However I do admire your optimism in encouraging “discussion.”
