Part 2: Our Second Act

We did a post two months back on some big news to share, and today is the day we share it. As of mid-September we are calling Dover, NJ home! We signed a lease on an industrial location in a little town outside of Morristown, NJ to get our operation up and running. If you read part 1 of this series you’ll remember that we decided to go the contract brewing route, due to a lower capital investment needed as well as a quicker speed to market. In our Dover location we will be holding all our kegs of beer and bottles after the production brewery we are partnering with brews it up.

Along with this news comes our submission both our federal and state documents to sell our beer! This means that if all goes according to plan, Q1 of 2017 is when some 2nd Act Beer will be coming to market. While it may seem trivial, this was a huge step for us from a confidence and a momentum standpoint. We have had so many different directions that this company has gone in, that it was important for us to actually feel like we are moving in the right direction.

You may have also noticed that we have a new logo. We got connected with our designer Matt who has done all of our work, including our 2nd Act Logo, Steel Sax Beer flyer and the banner on our website. Matt is extremely talented and was keen to start working on our graphic work. As a side note, if you’re in the market for a designer reach out to Matt. And tell him we sent you.

Lastly we have a content sharing plan to showcase all the great things that are happening, as well as to get our brand out there. Each day of the week we are dedicating to to either a blog post, video or live stream. And will be sharing things like our brew day, our state of the beer business and doing music spotlights, just to share a few. We know you’ll get a kick out of us three jokers talking about music and beer!

As you can see we’ve been hard at work over here making this little dream become a reality. While we may have been off the grid for the last few months, you’re about to see a whole lot more of us!
