Thetemperature in the region during summer is lies between 20 to 32 degrees, while during winters the mercury drops down to -2 degrees while the maximum temperature going up to 18 degrees.

Situated 6 km before the pass, the nallah is a major irritant for people traveling to Rohtang. The toughest way to cross is a 2 km nightmarish stretch that is only slush and mud all the way along.

The best season to visit to Rohtang pass is between May to October. This is only time when travelers can easily take up activities like snow scooter ride, skiing and mountain biking at the famous Snow Point.

Naggar

If you are visiting to Kullu, Naggar is a must visit place. While coming from Delhi or Chandigarh, you should get down at Kullu to board one of the busses, which goes to Naggar. There are frequent busses, arrives in one hour. The distance from Kullu to Naggar is 22 km and takes only 1 hour. You can either get busses or shared jeeps from Patlikuhal to Naggar.Alternatively you can also get down at Patlikuhal which lies between Kullu and Manali on the main highway. Private taxi from Patlikuhal to Naggar will cost 100–150 INR. From Naggar, there are busses to Manali also after every hour.

Solang valley

Solang valley, where all the visitors travelling to Kullu gathers for the adventure. The Altitude of the Solang valley is 2050 meters. Pahari, Hindi, English languages are used in this place to interact/ communicate with each other.

It is also known as Solang Nala. The name of the village is derives its name from a village called Solang and Nullah, which means water streams from mountains. This place is the venue for winter skiing festival and also offers training to the people who want to learn skiing. For the photographer, Nature Lovers, and adventure seekers, this place is one of the bestplace you can experience. People can spend 4 to 6 hours easily in the solang valley.
