Yes, I need to do an article on stops. The problem is I am currently working on 5–6 other articles and also need publishing.
The important thing is only use stops in the Perp, not the futures as futures too thin. Yes, once a trade goes your way and you determine it should continue immediately then use a timing indicator stop. . . this is what I did once I realize we had the sharp 1–2 day drop in OI and the market move up. I got very demanding. . . .by demanding I mean time and price. . . of course, it never came into play.
Trimming is also very important. By trimming you can effectively avoid using close stops and take advantage of swings contrary to your position. For example, by trimming my short Eth and Bcrash positions I have been able to re-establish shorts on the current rally rather than get stopped out.
