I’ve heard comments from other marketers about the possibility of routes that will make you go past certain businesses. Perhaps McDonald’s or BK will compete to ensure you pass THEIR drive through. Or different gas stations will try to show up higher when searching for the nearest station.

It’s a dangerous system, reminding somewhat of the issue of net neutrality. Small businesses could be “wiped off” the map if they don’t buy in.
