Thank you, this (and the initial article) is awesome. Assumptions, condescending attitudes, expecting everyone to be like us, talking but not listening, and lack of self-awareness of one’s own blind spots, bigotries, and assumptions are so damaging, and put up walls between people. I see this in all sorts of communities, whether activist and leftist or not. It’s time to grow up and focus on building real peace rather than “being right”.
