Work-Life Balance
I can tell you for sure, Ise has no respect for your work-life balance. And I know this is a serious problem across a lot of work places. Employers are glad the market is over saturated so they think you have to be grateful for the job that you should not have a life.
You can flat out ask about it during your interview and when you start they will still flip the script on you. All your agreements goes to shit.
One of my married colleagues asked me recently how I manage with my romantic relationship. To tell you the truth, I have no idea because it bothers me. My partner has to be extremely understanding. One thing I know is I can’t be married and working at Ise if this culture still persists.
How do we try to create that balance? How do we as employees give our best at work and in turn our employers give us the best without KPIs? Somewhere in my mind, I think we are a generation that feels a little entitled as both employees and employers.
