When I read your first response yesterday I thought “Lon Shapiro, how do I know that name? Has he trolled me before?” (Nothing personal, just a natural reaction based on my past few months on this platform) Once I saw your photo I thought, “That guy looks familiar” and then I searched my e-mail where your really nice request came up. When I clicked on it, the story was still on Medium. Then I thought, “I wonder if he remembers having actually interacted with me before?” So, sorry, that request was still up yesterday afternoon. And then when YOU decided to double down, you deleted it.

Is it petty? You bet. Is it even more petty to lie about it? Sure is.
