Jul 13th: On Top of Seoul

Climbing up to Namsan, N Seoul Tower and hours of walking.

Long nights and lazy mornings. That’s how it goes if you don’t care about the time change. I am really looking forward to the start of the work week tomorrow because I will change my daily routine to the Korean standard.

Today’s plan was to see the city from the heavenly heights so I decided to go up to the Namsan hill. And it wasn’t easy at all.

city part and forest part of my ramble

It was way longer then I expected. It took me about 2 hours to get there by feet because I refused to take a lift. But finally I got there and the place and also the scenery was stunning. Yeah! It was worth it.

On top of Seoul

I stayed there until late afternoon and I decided to take some extra walk to make this day really “the walking day”. I walked and observed Seoul for another few hours.

Before I went back home I walked into a large street market. I was thinking that I would like to eat some street food but which one? There were so many and I didn’t want to choose wrong one. What about “let’s buy something in the stand with the biggest queue”? I tried this technique and it worked. I had been waiting for my food for about 10 minutes but it was amazing … again.
