Jul 25th: Doing What Koreans Do

Korean BBQ, alcohol shots during the day and karaoke party.

After our AIESEC session, we decided to go to have Korean BBQ with all exchange students and also some Korean ones. Korean BBQ is one of the best food you can have in Korea. I will miss this food in Czech Republic.

The Korean BBQ is a pork belly grilled on a special grill. But you can try tens of different tastes because you have a lot of other stuff to eat the meat with — a kimchi, an egg, a salad, a lettuce, a soup, an union, a rice, a garlic and you can order even more. And we also drank alcoholic shots with the food — it’s tradition to drink Soju or some other spirit with the food.

After that, in our cheerful mood, me and Taewoo agreed on girls’ idea to go to a karaoke party! It is also Korean tradition, so why not.

All the time there were girl or Korean songs. Some of the k-pop song I knew but most of them not. But there was also my song — Beautiful Day (U2). And the girls didn’t miss the chance to take a photo of me. So enjoy it, you will never see me like this again.

I am not sure if I will go again but I am sure that it was fun and everybody should experience such a crazy thing.
