Additions: C DeMarcus Cousins, G/F Jacob Evans, and F Jonas Jerebko
The biggest splash was made signing 4x-NBA All-Star C DeMarcus Cousins to a one-year deal using the full Taxpayer Mid-Level Exception. Jerebko was signed to a veteran’s minimum deal, and Evans was taken with the 28th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The Warriors let three NBA veterans go as their contracts expired after the end of the 2017–2018 season.

The Warriors have 13 players under contract for the upcoming season. They have extended a QO ($1.71M) to G Patrick McCaw, who is expected to sign it. That will bring the Warriors up to 14 roster players, and they will be in need of one more player to fill out the roster. They will need to sign an additional player using the minimum salary exception.
Basically substituting Pachulia and West for Cousins and Jerebko is a positional upgrade at both the Center and Forward position. The Warriors could look to replace a shooter since they are losing G Nick Young (38% 3PT on 4.1 attempts/game and 86% FT in 17.4 minutes/game). G Aaron Afflalo (39% 3PT and 85% FT) and G Jamal Crawford (33% on 3.9 attempts/game and 90% FT) are good names to keep an eye on. Afflalo is right in the market of a minimum player, while Crawford is coming off a $14M season. Neither player has won an NBA championship.
Salary Cap Status:
The Warriors currently have 13 players under contract. They are on the books for $147.7M in salaries in 2018–2019, though only $143.6M counts against the tax when you remove the McCaw QO (unsigned) and the summer contracts of Nunn and House. That puts them $41.8M above the cap, $19.9M above the luxury tax, and $13.8M above the tax apron.
The Warriors used all of their $5.337M taxpayer MLE to sign C DeMarcus Cousins.
Training Camp Status:
Every NBA team can carry up to 5 additional players on their roster for offseason training camp, bringing the roster total up to 20. The Warriors currently have 1 remaining open spot for training camp plus the aforementioned one open roster spot for the season (assuming McCaw accepts the QO).
G Damion Lee will be the first on the training camp roster (16).
G/F Danuel House (17) and G Kendrick Nunn (18) are signed to minimum summer contracts. Nunn’s deal features an Exhibit 10, which means he can be converted to a Two-Way deal before the start of the season.
Expect G Marcus Derrickson (14.0 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 1.2 spg in 2018 Summer League) to be present for training camp. He is a viable candidate for a contract with an Exhibit 10, and he is certainly in contention for a Two-Way deal.
UPDATE: G Marcus Derrickson joins GSW on a training camp deal with an Exhibit 10. He is the 19th player on the roster, meaning they have one remaining spot for training camp.
Two-Ways:
G Damion Lee will be the first Two-Way contract for the Warriors, meaning they have one open spot to begin the season. Nunn, House, and Derrickson are leading for that spot.
