On Gym Clothes

I recently bought some leggings from Zella in the Nordstroms half yearly sale and they are my new favorite things! Really comfy, good rise, and a great price on sale. Or at least compared to the stuff I’ve bought at Lululemon and Athleta. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/zella-hatha-high-waist-crop-leggings/4484991?origin=category-personalizedsort&fashioncolor=GREY%20GRAPHITE%20DIGITAL%20DOT

I also do hot yoga at least 3x a week because it helps my back so much, and I recently splurged on a bunch o’ clothes. It was painful for my wallet, but sort of necessary because there is only one washer-dryer in our apartment building and I only have time to do laundry 1x per week, so I needed enough stuff to get me through and also so I won’t feel any grosser than I already do in hot yoga (re-wearing leggings is NOT an option).

Yoga clothes are one area where I allow myself to splurge a bit. I’ve found that the stuff I bought because I needed it and it was on sale doesn’t fit me / isn’t as nice as the stuff I bought because I liked it and it was functional (with the exception of those amazing zella pants). Because I exercise a lot I have decided to give myself a pass on feeling bad about this cost of yoga equipment because it really has helped my health and reduced my trips to the chiropractor. Also looking cute when I am a disgusting sweat monster makes me feel better about going to yoga, which is making me fitter and my back better. I am ok with this cycle.

I just found this site Carbon38 with a whole mess of clothes from tons of designers, but it seems on the pricer side and I am not sure about returns/shipping costs. http://www.carbon38.com/
