Feeling heathy and fit after recovering from yesterday we decided to hit it hard with adventure shizzle.

Adams school of climbing

We booked a half day course of rock climbing with Adams school of rock climbing. We met our tutor and headed 10 mins out to an amazing location with mountains galore. We trecked through rice fields and rivers to get to the location. My NEW white trainers were not happy, specially as it had just rained before we headed out.

Once bouldering through a mixture of terrain we finally arrived at our climb location. We climbed 3 different rock faces with all varying difficulty. All I can say is the heat does noooottt help! I have never been rock climbing before so that was hard enough to deal with!

I had to overcome the idea of falling and put my trust in the rope and our tutor which I did soon get the knack of, letting go and abseiling to the bottom was what freaked me out the most.

After it was over I was so happy, not because I didn’t enjoy it just due to the heat! Overall so glad we did it, was a real different experience. The trainer we had was crazy good… nearly as good as me…

Buggy rental

After cleaning up after the mucky business of climbing we thought wouldn’t it be nice to have a nice leisurely trip to the waterfall via buggy which is only 10 min drive away.

As we are about to pull off another couple arrive back on a buggy…covered head to toe in mud… and I mean covered. I look down at what I am wearing and instantly regret it. White flower shorts and a white t-shirt. Before it can get trashed I decide to ride with out my top and stick to the bikini.

As soon as we take off down the road to the waterfall we understand why this couple is covered. During our short time from climbing to renting the buggy the heavens had opened to leave us with mud tracked roads for our buggy to kick back up at us. As it was so wet and so muddy this is where our go pro came into action.

Once we got to the waterfall we were practically mud monsters, what was great was seeing an elephant bathing himself at the bottom. A small treck to the top we were gutted to not actually be able to go in due to how covered we were but we realised the journey back was still to come so embraced it.

So returning back was slightly tricker than expected, I like to think it’s cause Pete drive back… essentially the buggy stopped working as we were climbing a huge hill and with the kindness of strangers they helped us push it up to the top. We then realised that it wasn’t starting so our kind strangers motored to our hostel to inform them of our peril.

As they left us to fight off the wilderness we tried fiddling with wires to try to get it back up again but nothing was working. We let it rest for 15 minutes and then tried fiddling again and with sheer luck the gear clicked back into place and we were off again!

Only 5 minutes away from town we bumped into the people that were coming to save us so luckily the hunt for us is still not on going.

Overall SO MUCH FUN even tho we were caked in mud after the rain I would definitely say this made it far more exciting! I advise others not to wear white, waterproof bag is a must and see the mud as a exfoliate

Bye bye for now x
