This article is about mental disorder called Schizophrenia. Before discussing it , I want to share some numbers related to mental disorder worldwide. About 8.3 of the US adults have atleast one major depressive episode. The number is high in UK. On the other hand, In India, 1 in 20 are suffering from depression which is lower than US and UK. Lets talk about Schizophrenia.

About 1 in 300 people suffer from this disorder worldwide. In adults, the rate is 1 in 222 people which is alot. People suffering from this disorder do not even sometimes know that. People who know about the disorder are not able to discover the solution for this. Some people feel this is merely a minor medical condition but if not treated properly can lead to death.

So, I will guide you through the process of preventing Schizophrenia and share some tips to fight this disorder.

  1. Depression is the initial stage of any mental disorder. When it comes to Schizophrenia, delusions and hallucinations occur and patient started to loose touch with reality.
  2. Research suggests proper medication and therapy can prevent this disorder but yoga , exercise and meditation are very important to cure depression . It helps to shed out the stress.
  3. Proper diet is important to prevent this disorder as medicines might lead to obesity. Consult Dietician.
  4. Do not take guilt and trust the process.
  5. Learn more about this disorder and take it seriously.
  6. Last but not the least , embrace positivity as people with negative thoughts suffer from such disorder.
