What are the Kings doing? From the Sacramento Bee:

“ coach Dave Joerger said he wanted experienced players who could still perform at a high level, because their message would be lost on young players if they weren’t still good enough to earn playing time”

The Kings got very young as a result of the Cousins deal, and the veterans on the roster (Kosta Koufas and Garrett Temple) aren’t very good. Hill and Randolph are both very respected for their locker room presence, and are steady, had working, mature players on the court. The “minutes” issue is up to Joerger to manage, but these signings make sense and are a good use of cap space. The Kings have suddenly become interesting.
