I think it worth investigating whether Trump, Republicans, and Fox News are actually paying anyone to show up and try to turn peaceful protests to violence for their own photo ops and gaslighting talking points. It’s conspicuous that a group of masked agitators setting fires in Berkely, amid a protest of a speaker associated pretty closely with Steve Bannon would be dispersed without arrests, and that Trump would then tweet-threaten to pull federal funding from Berkely for infringing on one white-suprematist’s freedom of speech.
