9 Lessons That I learned Managing An Instagram Account!

Instagram is the top sauce for approximately 1 billion people daily serving in 2018 and still counting the numbers forward.

I was managing an Instagram account from last one year.

In one year I got a massive following of 100k followers on my Instagram account.

I am sharing nine lessons that I learned on my journey of self-improvement.

1. You Need to start.

The real groundbreaking act is the decision to start.

Most people are not willing to start but wait for the perfect moment.

Not because they lack the knowledge or resources to do so.

They are more fearful of failing in their pursuit rather scoring a success.

If you want to make better progress in life?

You must take the first step to start.

You wouldn’t be getting healthier without showing up at the gym.

If you want to score success in anything from life, Instagram, health, business or any relationship.

You must go out and lead your first baby step towards it.

2. You Have to know the Niche.

Would you like to sell eggs to a Vegetarian Person?

Your answer is No, and you are right about it.

In life, you must choose your interests and the demand of the Market.

You don’t have to be influenced by the numbers, influence, and money of other people and their business.

You need to work on what you like and what kind of business is aligning with your powers. I choose the personal development niche for my Instagram account.

Because of my vision to start blogging and share what I learned in my journey.

Stop being someone and better build Your brand or business.

3. Build the network with influencers.

You can choose to learn it all by try and error, or You can build relationships with Influencers in your niche to grow faster in a short span of time.

Networking with other people brings more opportunities in your laps.

You can learn from their experiences, try out their successful ideas on your product and services.

I learned a lot from people I admire from time to time like, Joel Brown Founder of the Addicted2Success, Amar Patel, Build Your Empire, Gary Vaynerchuk and much more.

4. Kick Out the Middle.

You get it right?

Yes, First of all, you need to kick out all the conflicting feelings about your abilities.

You better aim at the top or not at something average at all.

If you are not progressing better in anything? It’s just your fault.

It is because you are not putting adequate efforts in it.

You need to build better, easy to understand and shareable content.

You have to step up and create content that your audience wants not what you like to consume.

5. Bring more Value to people.

I know you read it everywhere that you must bring value First and later ask for benefits.

But on the other side how you and I approach it in the start is getting more followers, clients, and Million dollars in the bank account.

Because in reality, it doesn’t matter how much fancy your Instagram Bio, content, and marketing strategies are.

They have no added benefits until you are not bringing any value to the audience.

6. Show up every damn day.

The trophy of success is your when you participate in Marathons, not in the sprints.

But in reality, people are getting more impatient to follow a course for a more extended period.

You need to stop complaining about problems and direct your focus on improving.

Stop whining about Algorithm updates and be persistent in bettering your content.

You don’t have to give up because of fewer engagements on your posts.

7. Never Be Afraid to ask.

The number one reason people don’t outsource help to learn what they don’t know is fear of rejection. I believe the same and found it hard to approach people for advice.

But I made a shift in it and started to reach out to more and more people in my circle. I contacted people with the 5k following to 500k following.

The fact is not all of them answered back to me but that 5% of people who do are precious.

Don’t be afraid to ask people for help supplies in your course of progress.

I don’t bet on everyone, but most highly influential people answer back.

8. Focus on the Impact, not on numbers.

As a human being, You and I are so in need of numbers all the time.
More numbers in the bank account.

More numbers in exams, Instagram, Facebook and on and on.

And this thirst for more numbers makes you lose the purpose of what you are doing.

You want first 1000 followers, then 10k more, and 50k and the quest is still high all the time.

But, what I learned was that the numbers are not so significant.

You need to put more efforts in bringing value to your audience. It is better to have 1000 people who engage with your content and share their opinions about it.

There are no real benefits if 100k people hit a like on your post but don’t talk about it.

Stop chasing numbers and start building quality content that helps people in real ways. And You will earn a loyal audience for your message.

9. Invest in Yourself First.

No matter what you want to do in life.

You need to invest in yourself to get best at it.

You always look for the next shortcut to fix it quickly.

If you want to live mediocrely? Don’t try to put many efforts.

Because if you are serious about making an impact. You must add more value to Yourself each day.

In managing an Instagram account, I learned that I must invest in myself to catch up better quality content.

I regularly upgrade my images, quotes, and joined engagement groups to improve the reach of my content. And in return, it helps me back million times better.

I spent my time and money into it, and in return, I earned much more selling shouts and a massive following.
