that bridge which had been crossed several times by myself and my family who had relocated from texas to teays valley ,wv. for dads union carbide engineering job, collapsed the day we left for a return to texas for a christmas vacation. the stop light always backed traffic up on the bridge and i will never forget my dad saying that that was a mistake for such an old structure.
