Wow, it’s not the oppression Olympics haha
You went full “Kill the Indian, Save my Narrative” on us haha
What we ask is for people to think of intersectionality and to recognize oppression and marginalization against all people.
In the US, the colonizer created a narrative of “stipends” being handed out, that natives “received land.” Its all bullshit. That land was stolen–they separated us and put us on reservations.
The tribes that do receive payments are the minority, by far. And those are payments on tribal (communal) investments. Isn’t that the point of investments?
We must remember to challenge the colonizers narrative, don’t be a complicit part of it.
Because POC don’t win when that happens, but white supremacy does.
