Why have we built HowlLoop?
It was a fine alumni meet evening at Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute (VJTI) Mumbai in December 2015. Professionals from startups, MNCs, IBs, product managers and government officers came to meet their old friends and discuss about new milestones in life.
Soon, everybody was discussing about their work life balance and various things happening at respective organizations. We noticed how alot of time was spent in communication, managing information and documents and managing tasks in teams. This resulted in lack of motivation and hampered quality growth of organizations. Various managers and CEOs recommended various tools for chat, document management, task management, etc. that targeted one or the other pain point.
However, there wasn’t a single platform that targeted all the necessary pain points to improve synergy and efficiency at a workplace.
After understanding the needs of the industry also taking into account our own experiences, and 2–3 beers we came up with the concept of HowlLoop.
What are we offering?
HowlLoop consists of features such as user profiles, connections, activity feeds to keep your organization connected. It has project management boards and lists, calendars, and event management to manage your team tasks. It also consists of document management with version control and permissions for privacy settings. Users can also share their opinions through forums, questions and answers, and conduct polls.
