HowtoMags — Cheat Engine is open-source software that allows you to cheat at certain computer games. You can use it to hack into Android games and get more resources, such as lives, coins, etc. In this article, we’ll show you how to use Cheat Engine on Android.
Requirements
Before we get started, there are a few things you’ll need:
- A rooted Android device. Cheat Engine will not work on unrooted devices.
- To root your device, you can use a tool like KingoRoot.
- A copy of the game you want to cheat at. We’ll be using Subway Surfers as an example.
- The Cheat Engine APK file. You can download it from the official website or from a trusted APK site like APKPure.
Installing Cheat Engine
Once you have everything you need, follow these steps to install and set up Cheat Engine on your Android device:
- Install the KingoRoot app on your device and use it to root your device. Once your device has been rooted, reboot it.
- Install the Cheat Engine APK file on your device. Don’t open it yet. Before we can start using Cheat Engine, we need to set up a few things first.
- Go to Settings > Security > Unknown Sources and turn on Unknown Sources so that we can install apps from sources other than the Google Play Store.
- Next, go to Settings > Developer Options and enable USB Debugging so that we can debug our device via USB if needed. Now we can open Cheat Engine and get started!
- If you don’t see the Developer Options menu in Settings, go to Settings > About Phone and tap Build Number 7 times until it says “You are now a developer.” Now you should see the Developer Options menu appear in Settings.
- Note: On some devices, the Developer Options menu may be located in a different place in Settings (e.g., under System). However, the steps should be similar regardless of where it’s located.
- Open Cheat Engine and tap the Google Play icon in the upper-left corner of the screen (the icon with 3 vertical lines). This will take you to Google Play so that you can search for games compatible with Cheat Engine
- Find and install the game you want to cheat at (e.g., Subway Surfers). Once installed, open the game so that we can start using Cheat Engine
- In Cheat Engine, tap the little gear icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select “Select an app to debug.” This will show you a list of all installed apps on your device that are compatible with Cheat Engine
- Tap on the game you want to cheat at (e.g., Subway Surfers) and then tap “OK” in the bottom-right corner of the screen Using Cheat Engine Now that we have everything set up, we can start using Cheat Engine!
