MILKY WAY OVER OLD MINING CAMP
Lately I revisited one of the past road trips and found this shot — our galaxy over the remnants from the Gold Rush. I took many shots at this old mining camp in Paletto, NV that night, and this was one of the shots left behind for some reason. No one was around, except occasional late night drivers on Hwy 266. The chilly, dry air permeated in the typical high desert with not a single cloud let me capture a clear view of the Milky Way. And then, the shooting star was icing on the cake.
