Looking for an exact path to create success?

According to Forbes the online learning industry was set to top $107 Billion in 2015 (I couldn’t find stats as to what it ended up at).

So many of you are looking for this exact pathway to success.

Like if you could just figure out how someone else does it, you can use that recipe to create it yourself.

If it were that simple, why is it that only about 10% of people who do online learning actually create the success they’re looking for?

The reason is simple, really.

Up levelling your skills and knowledge is just ONE simple part of the equation.

This is a big reason why I had such a difficult time coming to my online course and what that would look like.

When I decided to create Step UP Society, I did so because I KNEW that I could help so many people. I had spoken to over 200 people in a span of 4 months and heard time and time again that they so badly wanted a coach but didn’t have access to the large sum necessary to do the 1:1 work.

I’m all about releasing people of their limits, right?

So I knew I had to create something that released these people from that financial limit they were experiencing.

And I knew that group coaching and mentorship was the way to do it.

But what’s always held me back from creating a group mentorship course is just that stat above: only 10% ever see the result.

And I know that this is because online courses focus on the skill set only. Four other things are missing from the equation:

• An online course does not guide you on how to place step-by-step action into YOUR business (it only allows you to analyze someone else’s formula)
• Group courses do not help you to optimize your environment. If you do not have the 1:1 support you need inside of your life, and this has held you back without you realizing, then you’re destined to fail no matter what you do.
• Online courses certainly don’t help you to master your psychology and that’s 80% of the work! (Unless the course itself is on just this I suppose).
• And people doing group masterminding often come into the course without a clear and defined vision. If you don’t have this deep, deep, DEEP level of clarity around who you are as a business, your core message, and your community, then the work and strategies you employ will fall on deaf ears.

I struggled hard to craft Step UP Society in a way that manages all 5 parts of the success equation. To ensure that it wasn’t just another strategy course with a 90% fail rate.

This was not easy.

Now I’m not trying to say that online courses are garbage. I take at least one a quarter because developing your knowledge and skill level is incredibly crucial!

But looking for someone else’s strategy to apply to your own business and life CANNOT be your be-all end-all.

It just can’t.

Unless you are willing to do the work in EVERY area of the success wheel, you are bound to be a sheep soaking up knowledge wherever you possibly can.

You’ll be doomed to throwing things against the wall and seeing what sticks time and time and time again.

And here’s the thing about just throwing out strategies until one sticks: it’s exhausting. It’s expensive. It’s unproductive. It’s stressful. It’s not what you signed up for!

If you really want to figure out what’s going wrong with ANYTHING, you have to run a diagnostic, right?

You need to pick it apart piece by singular piece.

When the check oil light goes on in your car, does the auto shop just replace the whole engine the minute you walk in the door?

No.

They run a diagnostic test, don’t they?

And then they fix the part that’s broken.

They don’t just scrap the entire car and tell you to buy a new one.

They isolate the one, small problem, solve it and move on from there.

So why are you scrapping your entire Facebook Ads strategy just because your cost per conversion is too high?

Why are you throwing away the entire car?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to isolate whether it’s the image that needs fixing, the copy, the CTA, the landing page, the audience, your offer or the bid strategy and just fix that one small thing?

How much time and resources are you WASTING each and every week inside your business because you’re looking for some MIRACLE strategy that works straight out of the box?

Do you really want to fit your business into a build-a-box formula?

Wouldn’t that mean that you’re just another cookie cutter business trying not to drown in a sea of businesses just like yours?

You’re fucking UNIQUE.

So WHY aren’t you playing that way?

Release yourself of this limit around trying to figure out how to do something, and just START DOING.

Make small tweaks along the way.

Adapt.

Create.

Achieve.
