The truth about BIG Player Clients

Do you want to work with high end ELITE clients?

Clients who pay in full?

Who challenge you to play a bigger game?

Who are doing EXCITING things in their business?

Let’s take a look at why this is important, shall we?

More elite clients = fewer clients needed to earn the same level of income.

Which means more time freedom.

Which means better relationship with your family and friends.

Which means more happiness and fulfilment for you.

It also means more of getting what you DESERVE.

Earning at a higher level.

Living at a higher level.

Whatever that level means to you.

What do you need to do in order to start working with BIG players?

A quick Google search tells us that we need to do things like establish brand authority, build a huge list, partner with JV’s, and do your competitive research to ensure your product is better than everyone else’s.

All of that is bull, my friend.

I attracted my first elite client with zero paying clients.

She was my first ever coaching client.

In a business that had no Facebook following, no brand authority, a free logo I made on PicMonkey, no testimonials, no business contacts or list, no big JV launches (in fact, no launches under my belt whatsoever), and a really crappy weebly website.

My hair was in a bun when we first chatted. I was wearing leggings and a $15 top. I was not luxurious by any means.

Because the truth about BIG player is this:

They’re human.

They’re the same as you and I.

They have the same hang-ups.

The same confidence issues.

The same fears around up levelling THEIR game.

When we have fears around approaching the people we REALLY want to work with, we start to seek validation for our fears.

Let me give you a real world example:

Before I landed my first coaching client, I can remember having all of these fears (and they still come up often for me).

I can remember being in a state of wanting to soak up everything I could learn and so I was on a big video watching binge. I was watching videos done by people who I wanted to emulate (because my big idea was to try to build my business like theirs — BIG mistake obviously!)

This one video stuck with me to this very day. It was all about how to connect with influencers.

The person instructing in this video was an influencer herself, so she had some “authority” on the subject, right? I mean, she was partnering with people like Pat Flynn, James Wedmore, big names that I looked up to and knew had made it in their industry.

So I trusted what she said when she pointed out that in order to connect with influencers, you had to have a big audience and following yourself. You have to go out there and create a business and brand that’s worthy of their attention. They get requests all the time from people wanting to partner with them and if you haven’t been active in their community plus had a big audience yourself that they could mutually benefit from, then it’s unlikely they’d want to work with you as a partner.

In addition, if you wanted them as a client, you had to build that relationship with them and have created something GREATER than they had created themselves. Because unless you can prove you’ve done what they’ve done, how could you coach them?

I believed it.

I put these elite clients and influencers up on a pedestal.

I started building a visibility plan, a list-building plan, a marketing plan, different courses to launch (that totally weren’t aligned to me whatsoever)…

Essentially, I had found validation in this video for what I was already feeling and so I bought into it hook, line, and sinker.

And, of course, none of it worked.

Then I took a course on connecting with influencers that outlines a lot of the same strategies but with more “how-to”. Scripts, and connection strategies. All that jazz.

And, of course, none of that worked either.

But it wasn’t a waste of money.

It was an important lesson.

Often when we are seeking “how-to” or roadmaps and strategy, it’s because the idea behind the information validated our fear.

If you don’t deal with the fear, you will never see success with the problem.

And you won’t deal with the fear until you realize it’s there to begin with.

Courses and new skills are great — they’re a part of the 5-steps to success that I talk about all the time, right?

You can gather all the information and acquire all the skills in the world, but you won’t find success with something until you first figure out why you haven’t achieved this already in the first place!

I realized my fear was there when I was on a connection blitz and someone I had newly connected with introduced me to a friend of hers.

She had created this EPIC $12Million+ a year business.

8-freaking-figures.

I was like….. SUPER intimidated to coach her but felt like I had to because the free session was set up by a new connection that I valued.

The old me would have cancelled and made up some excuse.

The old me would have bought into the fear that this person was too good for my coaching.

Would have sought validation in feeling like it was wasting both our time and that I would be embarrassed.

But something in me changed when I recognized that this was all driven by my fear.

And I decided to do the call. I decided just to show up and coach my ass off. To give it my all.

And wouldn’t you know, it worked!

I landed the client.

And she paid me in full!

BOOM.

Here’s what I’ve since learned:

All people are just people.

No matter how much money they’ve made or how much influence they’ve achieved, they’re still just like you and I.

And people hate being manipulated.

People don’t enjoy when you post for a month inside their group and share out all their shit just for the intent and purpose of getting something in return.

Some people have big ego.

And that’s cool. They’re the ones who will say no to genuinely connecting with you because they see themselves as up on this pedestal.

Most people though, are humble and authentic and want to connect with anyone and everyone as long as they have the time.

Here’s what else I’ve learned:

I LOVE working with clients who are playing BIG.

They have bigger problems. Greater challenges. More impactful goals.

I thrive off challenge.

I never take clients who don’t excite and challenge me in some new way.

ALL of my clients either HAVE 7- and 8-figure businesses or I can see within them that they absolutely ARE the person who WILL have one.

ALL of my clients have impactful goals. Visions that are greater than themselves. They’re helping people. They’re leaders, influencers, coaches, CEO’s, and entrepreneurs looking to make big social impacts.

And not one of them was enrolled through me impressing them with my following, my “premium” better-than-yours products, my fancy pants branding, my testimonials, or my list size.

So be honest with yourself, WHY haven’t you attracted elite clients into your business already?

(Or why haven’t you attracted as many as you’d like?)

xoxo Heather

PS — If you’re serious about attracting more high level elite clients into your business (you know, the ones who never bail on payments and who will refer their wealthy-as-fuck friends), here’s what you need to do:

I’ll be walking you and a VERY small group of go-getters through exactly how to do just that while we immerse ourselves in a high-end luxury environment (equalizing you with the clients you want to attract).

You’re going to master:

> How to get initial conversations with the elite clients you want to work with RIGHT NOW.

> Positioning yourself like the badass confident talent YOU ARE so you can close the sale and then move on to collecting high-value referrals like a BOSS.

> The psychology behind all of it. NOT the manipulation (like what to wear to impress them or the sales script to close them). But the genuine and authentic psychology that will give you an A-HA moment SO big it’ll make you question why you ever flew to Paris just to do a photoshoot in front of the Eiffel tower.

This is ONLY for those who are ready to play BIG.

Who are ready to be in a room full of extraordinary highly talented individuals at a location that will BLOW. YOUR. MIND.

Message me on Facebook for details (but only if you’re ready to commit).
