Park Guell is one of the most famous and most visited places in Barcelona city, after La Sagrada Familia. Barcelona city of Spain has become one of the first and most visited tourist destinations in Europe. This city has almost everything to please its visitor and attract the most tourist. This city is full of history with some famous architect like Gaudi, Dali, Miro and many more.

Park Guell was also designed by the famous architect Gaudi and it is located at the top of Carmel Hill. This park was built from 1900–1914 and officially opened for public in 1926. This park is famous for its beauty and art. Before Gaudi’s death, there was a living area designed by Gaudi for himself and after his death, that area was converted into a museum and now open for the public to visit.

Most part of this park is free to visit and some of the areas are chargeable for which tickets can be purchased both offline as well as online.

This park has a pleasant surrounding and on weekends this park is mostly full of people that can be tourists, locals or children. This Park brings peace and calm and gives positive and relaxing vibes. The wide variety of several of non-native species of parrots, short-toed eagle, and some hummingbird hawkmoths can be seen in this park.

  1. Try to visit in the early morning — if you are visiting early, then you could avoid long queues and waiting time to get entry and you can also have an amazing view of the city as well as a view of the sunrise as it is located at the hill.
  2. Bring your water, hat, and sunscreen as this park has a huge area to walk so in summer there are chances of dehydration and other problems because of the hot weather.
  3. You can visit most of the park for free so make to avoid queues if you aren’t going for paid zones.
  4. Pre-tickets booking is a good initiative by the government to save the time of visitors. This purchase can be done online via official websites or from some agents website.
  5. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes because you gonna have to walk a lot and some part of the park is uneven and you might face a problem while walking in uncomfortable shoes.
  6. Take time Margin of almost 2–3 hours if you are gonna look at the whole of the park. According to some surveys people typically spend their 1–2 hours in this park.
  7. If you are a photoholic, Pack a good camera because you gonna see a lot of different type of wildlife in this park.
