To Those Who Stuck With Me

Growth is painful. Pain affects people.
Welcome to my last twelve months.

To the family and friends who focused on my inner light while I worked-out the kinks, who gave me the benefit of the doubt and never lost faith, I am ineffably grateful. I know I am loved.

To the people who propped me up, pulled me up, and even carried me, altruistically or for an ethical compulsion to reciprocate, my appreciation can never be properly expressed. We are morally aligned.

To the rest, the disappointments — the ones who abandoned, shunned, and forgot me — if lessons were a waste of time, we would never learn a thing. Better late than never.
