Why does it feel like Umair plagiarized the title of this? Link below. Also, Umair posted same exact story a day before with slighly different title, nearly same content. Double views, double checks. Just saying,

For the entirety of this year, perhaps longer, the South American country of Venezuela remains embroiled in extreme political turmoil. President Nicolás Maduro has ended diplomatic relations with the United States and no longer recognizes U.S. diplomats in the country. An American-led coalition of nations recognized Juan Guaidó as President; a de-facto coup by the National Assembly to self-declare the National Assembly President as Venezuela’s President due to both the instability of the government and the irregularities and possible corruption during the last election. Trump’s support of ousting Maduro has brought full circle the Republican effort of casting Democrats as…
Another NBA season is upon us. The excitement this year of course will be a little more than before, with one of the most intense and league-changing free agency and trade periods in recent memory. The recent stand by Houston Rockets’ General Manager Daryl Morey and LeBron James’ subsequent disapproval have also put a stain on the beginning of the season. Fact-based inference leads one to believe that the league has become an oligarchy. This is certainly not a first in professional sports, thanks to the New England Patriots, the Devil Rays-Yankees salary cap differential, the Montreal Canadiens, and the…
Indian-Americans today are the wealthiest immigrant-minority group in the United States. They have well-surpassed Chinese, Japanese, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and Vietnamese communities. Certainly, high income and standard of living for NRIs is something worth celebrating. Yet personal experience proves that wealth does not always mean educated, and educated does not always mean knowledgable or wise. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully convinced an educated and wealthy group of people in America, in addition to a solid majority of Indians back home, of occurrences which are untrue. While Modi and President Donald Trump both assuaged the crowd of 50,000 people in…
Two Democratic primary debates in, with more platforms and policy proposals released by most of the major candidates, there is more information available than what was available at the beginning of this process back in February. Since then, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren are at the top of the polls and each have done well in debates (for the most part).
While I previously stated support for Vice President Joe Biden, it has since been revealed that he has no tolerance for Medicare-for-All and he does not want to legalize Marijuana fully if elected as President in 2020…
I have been trying to make sense of this incident of Chelsea Clinton being heckled at NYU. As a lot of you may know, according to protestors, somehow being against Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s remarks is the reason why Chelsea Clinton should not have gone to a vigil to honor the victims of this senseless act of terrorism in New Zealand. I still do not exactly see the connection. I cannot understand most of the outrage at Chelsea Clinton or at Ilhan Omar.
In regards to Clinton, I suppose what they are saying is if you do not support Omar’s comments…
On a Sunday afternoon, the Attorney General of the United States, William Barr, a Republican, released a relatively-brief statement that the Trump Campaign DID NOT collude with Russia during the 2016 Presidential Election. The news certainly let the President’s supporters declare victory and claim they were right all along, as many of Trump’s supporters believed this was a manufactured conflict, a “witch hunt” despite “no collusion”. None of that changes Cohen’s testimony, the Campaign Chairman’s sentencing or other subplots.
If nothing illegal has taken place, why has Mike Flynn, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, Roger Stone, and a few others been…
With Senator Bernie Sanders now in the race, some of you are probably expecting me to support him again. However this time, I would rather vote for Biden, Warren, or Bloomberg, and then Sanders as a close fourth option. I think my support for Bernie was significantly because of how there were no other options and while I appreciate Hillary Clinton as a person and her service to the nation, I really did not agree with the platform (the entire Presidential field now is against nearly everything she ran on).
Just a quick recap, I have to agree with Ezra…

It is hard to put to words what Bollywood film Gully Boy is about and what is to be expected. To begin with, it stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, with an impressive supporting cast, so expect the acting to be phenomenal. You see another story of the Mumbai-Bombay slums, another Muslim-dominated setting, but this time, you see a seemingly normal working-class youth somehow make it as a Hindi-spitting rapper. The release of the movie also coincides with a terrible terror attack in Kashmir, with many Indians now finding liberty to say terribly bigoted things about…
