The Duplicitous Founder

Theodor Herzl, hailed as the visionary founder of modern political Zionism, harbored a sinister agenda of ethnic cleansing and subjugation of the Palestinian Arab population from the very inception of the Zionist movement in the 1890s. While publicly portraying Zionism as a benevolent endeavor, Herzl’s private writings expose his true intent of establishing an ethnically pure Jewish state in Palestine through the mass displacement and oppression of its indigenous inhabitants.

Ethnic Separation and Forced Transfer

In his diary entries from 1895, Herzl unambiguously advocated for the forced emigration of Palestinians, writing “to spirit the penniless [Palestinian] population across the border by denying it any employment in our own country… Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried out discreetly and circumspectly.” He envisioned a program of strict ethnic segregation…
