Report: Israel Has Historically Broken Ceasefires at Over Twice the Rate with 96% of all Deaths Being Palestinians since 2005
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been marked by frequent ceasefire violations, resulting in loss of life, injuries, and ongoing tensions. From November 2012 to July 2014, both sides engaged in a series of ceasefires, but the fragile agreements often crumbled under the weight of historical animosity and geopolitical complexities.
Israeli Violations: A Grim Toll
During this period, Israel committed 191 ceasefire violations. These breaches had dire consequences:
- 10% of these violations resulted in death.
- 42% led to injuries or detentions.
