Unmasking Zionism’s Racist Reality

In 1975, the United Nations took the bold and righteous step of passing Resolution 3379, which determined that “Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination.” This resolution laid bare the racist ideology and discriminatory policies at the core of the Zionist movement and the Israeli state.

Despite the outrage from Israel and its allies, the reasoning was clear and compelling. Zionism from its inception was a racist endeavor premised on the dispossession and subjugation of the indigenous Palestinian population. The very idea of a “Jewish homeland” in Palestine meant the denial of Palestinian self-determination and rights.
