New York City Trash

There are very few alleyways in Manhattan, which means there is nowhere to put rubbish for pickup except by the side of the street. This is a chronic New York disaster.

At it’s most benign, this is just a bit of an eyesore:

But at worst, it’s a stinking, rat-attracting mess:
