On-Premise Elastic Load Balancing using Eucalyptus
Various Resources regarding Eucalyptus’s Elastic Load Balancing Service
Since Eucalyptus 3.3, Eucalyptus implemented an AWS-compatible web service API — the Elastic Load Balancer. This feature allows cloud users to deploy and manage load balancers for applications running on a Eucalyptus Cloud, similar as they can do on AWS.
To help cloud users and cloud administrators understand how to use and maintain the Eucalyptus Elastic Load Balancer, I wanted to share some resources have been created. I hope that these resources are found to be educational and useful for users of Eucalyptus clouds.

Developers
Eucalyptus is an open source company. This means that we encourage the open source community to help make our product be the best on-premise AWS-compatible cloud. The Eucalyptus Elastic Load Balancer is based off the following Github repositories:
- eucalyptus/load-balancer-servo — the Eucalyptus load balancer-controlling mechanism
- eucalyptus/load-balancer-image — the Eucalyptus load balancer VM image that contains the load-balancer-servo application
Any improvements/feedback would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy!
