The part of the OT that I’m referring to specifically is the theology of sin and the blood sacrifice of for its forgiveness. There is mercy only through that, and following Jesus in particular is not as flexible as learning from Buddha. I appreciate your feedback and agree that people can learn from Christ, but I’m pivoting my own journey by rejecting the top-down premise.
