Two ways to raise sponsorship from corporates —from the frontal lobe
- Don’t ask a company to give you free stuff upon which their business model depends — think of incidental things they can easily boot out the back door and won’t really miss (if profits are good *from their main business model working*) — for an eg if you want free pizza at an event, don’t go to Dominos! Go to the pizza box company, or the cheese grater company or any Dominos supplier, or get them to deliver flyers with their pizzas — so many options… don’t be stupid
- See above — you can get massively inventive if you start looking at the map of organisations, pro-bono has to not affect the bottom line OR i t must come with ROI for the future that you will sign your name to
