Where I rant against code comments

Just reading over your post made me think about code comments and why I like them… and now tighten your seatbelts: I simply love the esthetics and visual appearence in any IDE caused by the comments; separating methods or chunks of code within methods.

I guess that I don’t even read the comments 80% of the time, but it helps when scrolling over larger files and gives me a great feeling – while code without comments gives me a bad feeling and does not feel as „light“. Crazy!

However, many thanks for your article – it made me really think about that topic!
