Swifties vs. Ticketmaster

Taylor Swift fans- known as Swifties are not very happy after all of the tickets to her Eras Tour was sold out during presale, also in which many bots were the ones to buy the tickets, not even actual fans. After Ticketmaster posted a tweet saying that due to high demand, the public-sale had been cancelled.

The pre-sale that some fans were able to get wasn’t easy sailing to get a ticket either. Many fans got kicked out while waiting in line or had trouble getting with their pre-sale code.

Taylor Swift ended up tweeting about the situation stating “ I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we asked them, multiple times, if they could handle this kind of demand and we were assured they could.”

It’s gotten to a point where Ticketmaster is currently getting investigated in North Carolina.
