I began reading this with a smile on my face, then I realised it actually wasn’t a satire piece!

Contrary to your thesis, the main purpose of a blockchain is fraud prevention. Everledger [1] is in place to prevent diamond-related fraud and the connected bloodshed. Luxtag [2] is in place to prevent counterfeiting of luxury goods.
Bitcoin was created for the purpose of preventing banks and governments perpetrating large-scale fraud on the people [3].

You changed the syntax without changing the semantics. As stated in my second article, The Tor of Money, the blockchain is a tool for activists and the oppressed. Buying drugs and tax evasion is a different side to the same coin.

Do you see how “Bitcoin was created for the purpose of preventing banks and governments perpetrating large-scale fraud on the people” is exactly the same thing put in different words?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
