What are the safety rates internationally?
Ryan Lee

Exactly. Good points: other then very specific components and construction techniques, in broad strokes, building any ship: warship or merchantman, is basically the same thing. I do know that Hyundai — the biggest — runs at 1 death/month, and is receiving constant flak for crappy safety standards and doing that wonderful corporate trick of hiring independent, individual sub-contractors, so they don’t have to pay any benefits or support to families of dear workers. So maybe they aren’t the gold standard LOL. That said — you can’t tell me that game isn’t being played by every corporation on the planet!
