I don’t mean to be pedantic but Jeez, it’s not the “Golden State mold”. Can we stop pretending that they invented passing and switching? I’ve still never seen them match the selflessness of the Spurs’ game 3 first half against Miami — and that was only three years ago! Kerr didn’t invent this stuff, he brought it from Phoenix and San Antonio. But D’Antoni and Pop didn’t invent it either. (I first saw it myself in 1973, with the Knicks.) Yes, Golden State is a great team but this is nothing new.
