Limitless Space Institute: Inspire, Educate, Research
How will humans travel to nearby stars without taking thousands of years using current technology? A breakthrough is necessary, and Limitless Space Institute is working on it today. Kaci Heins, Director of Education for LSI, shared research that the institute is supporting, including solar sails, laser propulsion, nuclear to electric propulsion systems, and more. She also shared the Limitless Educator Program, with a focus on middle school science. The following Q&A discussion touched on topics as diverse as living and working in space, the global teacher retention challenge, and expansion into high school CTE programs. Kaci even invited one of her students to share about their solar sail project!
