Not Only Holding a Business Seminar, KKNT 19 Umsida Provides This Assistance
Seeing the potential of MSMEs that can be developed in Candinegoro Village, Wonoayu, KKN T 19 Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (Umsida) held a Digital Marketing Strategy Business Seminar.
This activity is one of the KKN work programs in the economic field to increase the profitability of Candinegoro MSMEs. This seminar was held in the Al-Insan Orphanage Hall, located in Dermo Candi Hamlet, Candinegoro, Wonoayu, Sidoarjo.

This seminar on the urgency of digital marketing is deemed necessary to be implemented and delivered because considering the increasingly developing era, the integration between all areas of life with the internet network is now inseparable from everyday life.
In addition to being able to generate more profits, the scope or distribution of its products will also be wider. In addition, business owners can adjust to the times.
Digital marketing strategy seminar
The urgency of digital marketing strategy delivered by Fauzan SKom MKom as a lecturer in Informatics at Umsida and Founder of LACI Point of Sale cashier system. This business seminar was attended by members of the Aisyiyah Candinegoro branch.
The information delivered was what strategy is carried out in introducing products so that they are easily accessible to the public and in increasing the profit of the business.
In realizing targeted profits, Fauzan provided direction on the use of the LACI application, to facilitate MSME actors in processing financial reporting. In addition, Mr. Fauzan explained how to use the LACI application effectively and efficiently.
“The use of LACI can affect profit and safety of income from product sales,” said Fauzan.
In addition, he continued, the use of LACI can be used for the wider community because the LACI application is easy to obtain by downloading the application on the Play Store.
MSMEs often face various challenges, such as limited market access, minimal capital, and lack of knowledge about business management.
UMKM marketing products
The products released by KKN-T Candinegoro and the Muhammadiyah Candinegoro Branch in this activity are Crunchy Mania Banana Chips, Seje Herbal Medicine (lemongrass ginger), compost, and liquid organic fertilizer.
“The product innovation that we carry is the creation of standing pouch packaging for the crunchy mania banana chips product and the creation of a label that carries the Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah branch,” said Dwiky Angga Saputra as the coordinator of the business seminar.
Not only in the form of re-branding, he said, the KKN T team also made innovations in the taste of the banana chips themselves, namely with 6 flavor variants, namely original, chocolate, matcha, vanilla, balado, and salty.
The purpose of giving a logo and re-branding to the banana chips product is so that the product has its own identity and differentiates it from other banana chips.
Disseminate marketing techniques
Not only that, the KKN T Candinegoro group also provided socialization for the sale of banana chips and SEJE herbal medicine.
They provide marketing socialization by marketing products online through Instagram and Shopee. They have also registered the halal certification of the product.
“We hope that through this seminar, Aisyiyah mothers can improve their knowledge and skills regarding the benefits of digital marketing and halal centers,” explained the Accounting study program student.
Tita, coordinator of the Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah Candinegoro branch management, said that through KKN students, Aisyiyah mothers can overcome various challenges. For example, by helping MSMEs utilize digital technology, such as social media and e-commerce.
“We also received financial management training, namely through the use of the LACI application so that MSMEs are wiser in managing cash flow and business capital,” she said.
This assistance also involves creating a simple business plan that can advance the sustainable economy of the Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah branch.
