Thanks for the feedback Lakshan! The buzzwords are quite intentional. I included them to poke fun at the rhetoric around ‘growth hacking’ in the industry. I’m not a fan of oversimplified pitches like “we help businesses to understand their users better through focused studies.” This wording might work on the website, but I think this is too vague to be useful for myself, Brad, and others to understand why the world needs Dovetail. Why a product should exist in the market is more complicated than you can convey in a few sentences. In saying that, I do think you need to tune the pitch to the audience, and in this case, the audience was myself and other potential co-founders. Vague doesn’t cut it for me or them.
