How To Achieve Peace

It’s much simpler than you think.

Let me let you in on a secret of mine. My favorite scripture is Galatians 6:9. It reminds me to not give up when things get hard. I use this scripture on everything. What can I say, I have come a long way and need to be reminded quite frequently.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It isn’t enough to just hear certain things. You have to meditate on them. Some mornings I just get out of the house and go grab a cup of coffee. It’s the simple things that bring me peace. It really is a state of mind.

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.” Buddha

Whether you like to work out, meditate or have a hobby that you use as an outlet, you can start right now. Take a deep breath. Inhale for about 5 seconds then exhale to clear your mind. Do it until you’re relaxed and meditate on whatever thought, quote, scripture etc that brings you peace.

For me:

Coffee + Galatians 6:9 = Peace

Hope this helps someone!
