I think I know my dude’s appearance-related costs pretty well, mainly because he doesn’t have many of them. He did, however, just spend $200 or so on like 7 pairs of (all differently-colored) new Chucks (from a discount store, hence the low price per pair) so he wouldn’t have to buy new shoes for a few years. “Why didn’t I think of this before?!” was his exact wording.
