How might we make exercise more efficient for working professionals
My General Ideas:
New Warm-Up Game: 10/21/2016
I came up with the idea for this game because of how it incorporates both physical activity and spontaneity/improvisation. This gets you thinking and moving which helps your brain warm up effectively for idea generation.
Session Organization: 10/23/2016
The people I had help me with my idea generation process were CJ, a 20 year old working towards becoming a personal trainer; Nick, a 21 year old workout enthusiast; Jay, 20 year old nursing student; and Jake, a 19 year old economics major. We started off playing a round of foosball to get the blood flowing and then proceeded to play “Show and Tell” followed by a word association game we learned from HUGE. We brainstormed for 40 minutes but they got distracted quite a bit by silly ideas and other side chatter so the session was not as productive as I would have hoped. Overall we generated 41 total ideas with a 1.025 ideas per minute ratio and a .256 ideas per minute per person ratio. We brainstormed in our living room with nice comfy couches and an open space for freely communicating and collaborating.
Sorting and Voting: 10/23/2016
We first began by categorizing the ideas into 9 different categories (since a lot of the ideas varied quite a bit in theme).
We separated the ideas into the categories meeting spaces, exercise requirements, sleep, drugs, office space exercise, desk space exercise, office nutrition, apps, and physical exertion. From there we picked our top 10 from the pile and then cross-referenced them with the ideas I generated myself.

The criteria for our top ideas were, how easy they are to use, how often will somebody use them, do they make you want to exercise more, and do they make exercise fun/easy.
