Today I decided to do 5 different act of kindness and experience how it looks and how it feels to be kind to others. So, I start my day by keeping in mind that I should have to focus on what I am doing today and how can I add kindness to it.
As once said by a famous writer:

“It,s always possible to be kind. The only thing is we have to figure this out.”

So the 5 little efforts of mine are as follow:

1. Spending time with Farhan Ayub

Farhan Ayub is a Martial Arts expert who set two world records.
He is on his peaceful protest outside the Punjab Assembly. I spend some time with him, talking and listening to his problems. I also captured the pictures from his camera, which I think he use for publicize the agenda!
Along with it I also captured this picture which I share on social media to highlight the topic. Some of friends also share the post.
I think spending time with some one like Farhan is an act of kindness.

2.Collecting Funds for Edhi Foundation

We are on a mission to collect funds and donations to keep the Edhi,s vision and their organization ALIVE!
here we spend around 5 hours in Anarkali market following the work, style and techniques of Janab Abdul Sattar Edhi Sb. We collect from small and little donations of 10 and 20 to the big single donation of 5000. We cover the market and I think it,s also the act of kindness for the people on whom the Edhi foudation spends these funds!

3. Writing a Thank-you Email

As we are at Anarkali this morning and I am studying in PU old campus which is also at Anarkali so, I decided to talk to my department head so we can arrange a charity walk in my campus.
Although university is closed but it has a big amount of faculty members which can alone give a significant amount of money. I already mailed the details and Authority letter to the principle and wait 2 hours a day before to meet him but unfortunately he was in a meeting so we can’t discuss this matter.
That day I thought to give it one more chance. I went to the principle room, waited there for about 2 hours again and when I finally meet him.
He said he can,t allow any person or any NGO to work within the campus.

It really disappoint me but I somehow manage and write him a thank-you email for his time.

4. Visit Fountain House

As we are also working on a mega project for which we have to visit Fountain House. That day we have some little work (require the list of doctors to include it in our proposal). We visit and experience the working environment, mental patients and also spend some time with talking to them.
I think my this act is also have a little kindness for the Mentally challenged and Trans Gender persons.

5. Help other group members

At night when we share the details of the charity walk with friends, I came to know that they already planning and also make some arrangements to visit Anarkali market but now they think they will not get a positive and spectacular response from the market as we covered and collect the donations from there.
I explain them that it,s a huge market and we only cover 15 to 20% of it and still there is a huge margin for fund raising. Along with it I explain them the right time to capture market and some details which will surely help them to collect funds more than our own group. Our main target is to increase the funds.

Conclusion:

Kindness matter!
it always come to you in any different form so, always try to be kind and every time do something that you know will surely help someone, somewhere in this beautiful world.
